DevCore London has ended
The Bitcoin Foundation’s DevCore Roundtables are a series of developer events aimed at building knowledge, widening understanding and deepening technical expertise to support the future development of Bitcoin Core. Join us in London for our first European DevCore event, sponsored by our Title Sponsor, Blockchain, and Supporting Sponsor, Bitnet; and in association with our media partners Coinscrum, UKDCA, Coindesk, Inside Bitcoins News, C4, Liquidity Summit and the College Cryptocurrency Network (CCN). The event will open with a keynote address by Bitcoin Foundation Chief Scientist, Gavin Andresen followed by a feature presentation from Blockchain’s CEO, Peter Smith and Lead Developer, Matt Tuzzolo. Sessions at DevCore qualify for Digital Currency Council Continuing Education Credits.

Chief Scientist
Gavin Andresen is Chief Scientist at the Bitcoin Foundation and is one of the original developers of the Bitcoin protocol. He is a leading contributor to the Bitcoin SourceForge project. Since Satoshi Nakamoto’s disappearance, Gavin has been an informal ambassador for the network. At the Bitcoin Foundation, Gavin heads a team of programmers who work to improve and standardize the existing code. Before joining the Bitcoin movement, Gavin was part of a wide variety of software-related ventures, including a company that made multiplayer online games for blind people and their sighted friends. He started his career writing software at Silicon Graphics Computer Systems, a 3D graphics hardware company and is creator of ClearCoin and BitcoinFaucet.
